Krueger Middle School to Host Water Festival

On Saturday, June 1 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Krueger Middle School (2001 Springland Avenue) will hold a Water Festival to kick off Coastal Awareness Month. This free event is open to the public, and will feature tours of the school’s two-mile Bird Habitat Trail and one-mile Forest Management Path, along with lots of activities and games for kids (including a dunk tank!).

There will also be food, demonstrations on fishing, kayaking, canoeing, and sailing, and many exhibits by organizations on water-related topics. Krueger has transformed its campus into an Outdoor Environmental Science Center. Please come and join in the fun!
