The Kiwanis Club of La Porte donated $250 to the La Porte Park and Recreation Department at the Thursday, May 2 meeting.
Kiwanis President Bert Sappenfield presented a check in support of Art Camp to Mark Schreiber, Recreation Director for the La Porte Park and Recreation Department. Art Camp provides an opportunity for local children to experience a hand-on visual arts program each summer.
Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to serving one child, one community at a time.
