June is Adopt a Shelter Cat Month and the Independent Cat Society is having an Adoption Event on Saturday, June 13th at Pet Supplies Plus on LaPorte Avenue in Valparaiso from 11 am to 3pm to try to help some of their kitties find good homes. A few of the ICS kitties will be making a guest appearance at this event. You can fill out an adoption application there and within a week, take home your new forever friend. During June we are adopting our cats 5 years and older for $25 each, cats 1 year to 5 years for $50 each or a kitten for $75 each.
This fee includes spay or neuter, current vaccinations, flea treatment, nail trim and a free initial vet visit with one of their participating vets within 2 weeks of the adoption. So stop at the event or come in to the ICS Shelter, located on Route 6 and County Line Road in Westville, and check out some of the wonderful cats and kittens available for adoption.
