2nd Saturdays! July will have visitors roaming and mingling through the downtown to all kinds of sounds of music and art. Several downtown businesses will remain open on July 14th from 5pm to 8pm and feature a unique musician, art or discount for 2nd Saturday visitors.
Some of the musicians that can be found throughout the downtown include Mike Wood, Incog, Nutshell, George from Midwest Hype, dulcimer rhythms by JC Sells, Jeff Topp from the band “To All Nations” and Ronn Barany on the acoustic guitar, harmonica, and dulcimer with guest John Derado accompanying him. Explore several of Downtown LaPorte’s art galleries, including Thaddeus C. Gallery on Lincolnway and the latest Clinton Worthington Fine Art Studio at 713 Indiana Avenue. If art is what you came for, the LaPorte County Public Library will also be having an art show at their facility on Indiana Avenue, featuring many local artists.
