The La Porte County Family YMCA is now hiring lifeguards for our La Porte and Michigan City Elston branches. If you are hard-working and have a positive attitude, we would love to hear from you. No previous experience is required and we will provide training and/or certifications as needed.
We are able to work around a variety of schedules but are particularly in need of staff members who are available to provide daytime coverage on weekdays. Effective March 1st, we will be offering an increased pay rate of $8.50 per hour from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. All Y employees receive a free adult membership valued at $40.00 per month, plus reduced fees on many of our programs.
