It’s the most wonderful time of the year for many across Northwest Indiana. The holiday season has swung into full effect. As many area residents have begun shopping for holiday gifts and are soon to host gatherings with loved ones, Ivy Tech Community College encourages all to consider gifts outside the box this holiday season.
“There’s no greater gift than education. This time of year is a wonderful opportunity to extend a year end contribution to the Ivy Tech Foundation. Big, small and everything in between counts. Every dollar donated helps students not just reach graduation day, but a better day thereafter,” said Ivy Tech Valparaiso Chancellor Aco Sikoski.
Ivy Tech Community College Foundation actively partners with diverse set of statewide donors and leaders to generate resources and create opportunities for college communities throughout Indiana. Through revolutionary philanthropy, the Ivy Tech Foundation is a catalyst to generational change, and boldly impacts communities that fuel Indiana’s economy in real time. Earlier this year, Ivy Tech unveiled new strategic plan Higher Education at the Speed of Life. The plan outlines variety of goals supported by strategies, metrics and tactics ensuring Ivy Tech’s position as the highest quality, agile, relentlessly workforce-focused community college in the nation.
“We’re here to help everyone grow, Sikoski said. “Everyday our goal is simple. Help communities throughout the state break down barriers for students pursuing their education at Ivy Tech Community College. Charitable donations to our foundation help us to not only meet student needs, but also to build stronger communities across Northwest Indiana.”.
The Ivy Tech Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. All gifts to the Foundation qualify as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes and also qualify for a special Indiana state income tax credit.
