Anyone interested in learning how to make maple syrup the old fashioned way (in kettles outside) should come to International Friendship Gardens on Saturday, Jan. 19 at l:00 PM. There will be a short meeting and walk-through.
The necessary spiles (tree hooks) will be available for sale.
The Gardens are located on Highway l2 east of Michigan City and Casino, just east of Liberty Trail (stop light).
Maple Syrup Time for the public will be Sunday, March 3, l0-3 PM.
