Indiana University Northwest offering rapid-decision admission and priority scholarship consideration until December 1

Students must be admitted by December 1 for priority consideration for multiple scholarships

Indiana University Northwest is offering rapid-decision admission to students who apply before December 1, 2020 to allow students to meet the priority scholarship consideration deadline on the same day.

IU Northwest awards nearly $1 million in scholarships every year to incoming freshmen and transfer students. In order to qualify for multiple scholarships awarded by the Office of Admissions (listed below), students must have applied, and been admitted, by December 1 for priority consideration.

“We know the holidays are a busy time,” said Dorothy Frink, director of Admissions and Strategic Recruitment. “We want to make it easy for high school seniors to apply now for admission and select scholarships. This way, they can start the new year knowing they are all set to begin their college careers at IU Northwest next fall.” She added, “We also encourage students to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for access to additional financial aid opportunities.”
