Indiana Beverage Celebrates Winners of the Ernestine M. Raclin Community Leadership Award

EMR-NomineesIndiana Beverage today announced that George Douglas Vice President and General Manager and Pat Flynn Vice President Customer Relations and Community Affairs received the Ernestine M. Raclin Community Leadership Award. Both men, along with awardees from other area companie, each received a Globe of Leadership, $1,000 to the charity of their choice, as well as a personal $1,000 gift.

1st Source Bank established the Ernestine M. Raclin Community Leadership Award to honor and encourage leadership in volunteerism through the businesses in our community. The award recognizes Ernestine M. Raclin, Chairman Emeritus of 1st Source, who strongly demonstrated the spirit of volunteerism throughout her career by giving of her time and talents to help others

Pat Flynn has been a part of the Indiana Beverage team for five years and works for Indiana Beverage primarily in St. Joe, Elkhart, Marshall and Fulton counties. A native of South Bend, he serves his community by participating in a number of organizations some of which include: The Alcohol and Addiction Resource Center (1st Vice President), The Studebaker National Museum (Trustee), St. Vincent DePaul (Board member), Great Chefs of Michiana (Winner) and Logan Center (Emcee and auctioneer). In 2013, he was the Boys & Girls Club of St. Joe County Great Big Kid winner.

George Douglas has been a part of the Indiana Beverage team for ten years and is the Vice President and General Manager overseeing operations. A native of Valparaiso, IN, George serves his community by participating in a number of organizations some of which include: Porter County PACT (Board President), The Northwest Indiana Workforce Investment Board (Current Chairman), Valpo YMCA (Former Board Treasurer), Valparaiso Schools Foundation (Board Member), Porter County Community Foundation Getting To Results Initiative (Member), Valparaiso Redevelopment Commission (Past President), Northwest Indiana Forum (Past Board Member), among others.
