Want beautiful spring blooms in your yard? Sign up for one of the three bulb planting classes at Friendship Gardens. Classes will be held from 3 to 5pm on Wednesday, November 14th, Saturday November 17 and Sunday November 18 from 1 to 3 pm. Focus is on young people, parents and new gardeners. Scouts and other youth groups are encouraged to sign up. During the first hour, the class will begin with training on what to plant, how to plant and other care tips. A brief break will take place with drinks and snacks furnished by the Gardens.
After the break, bulbs, gloves and tools will be distributed and teams will go throughout the gardens planting bulbs for wonderful color next spring. Master gardeners will supervise the planting and answer questions. After the planting exercise, students will receive bulbs to take home and plant in their own yards.
