Last week Indiana legislators successfully passed the largest tax cut in state history, which when fully implemented will reduce Hoosier taxes by $650 million per year. Implementing this new budget was a top priority for the Pence administration and sets a significant benchmark for fiscal strength and prosperity for the Hoosier state.
Keeping overall costs low is a crucial factor in maintaining our ability to attract new business and investment and to continue growing our existing businesses in the Hoosier state. This new budget represents another important step forward as Indiana maintains its legacy as one of the top states in the nation for business.
It's a fantastic example of state government working together to deliver solutions that benefit all Hoosiers, and yet another reason Indiana is a state that works for business.
