Hobart Adult Learning Center Shuts Down Operations at Two of Their Three Locations

Adult-Learning-CentersThe Hobart Adult learning Center has shut down operations at two of their three locations. The center is no longer operating at Trinity United Methodist Church in Hobart or the Hobart Public Library. It will be solely operating at Hobart’s First United Methodist Church, 654 East 4th Street beginning Monday, July 9, 2018. Open registration for new students will take place on-site July 9 from 1:00-4:00 p.m.

The Hobart Adult Learning Center offers a program which gives students an individualized skills review approach. This program is designed to prepare students to successfully complete the High School Equivalency exam (HSE), by providing concentrated and focused instruction.

In addition, they offer English Language Learner (ELL) classes, training scholarships, and Adult Basic Education (ABE) for individuals looking to brush up on their reading, writing, or math skills.

New hours at the center will be Mondays and Wednesdays 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. and Tuesdays and Thursdays 3:00-8:00 p.m. Classes are free. If you'd like to register or if you have questions, please call 219-309-5433.
