In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, HealthLinc has expanded its telemedicine services.
This innovative tool allows patients to access medical and behavioral health services from the safety of their home. While not all appointments are able to be done via telemedicine, HealthLinc hopes to treat most patients virtually including those that are symptomatic and those high-risk patients like the elderly or those with chronic diseases.
For those who are unable to utilize telemedicine, appointments can be scheduled during designated times on a modified schedule to reduce the risk of COVID-19 exposure. Preventive appointments, follow-up exams and medication refills are scheduled in the morning, while symptomatic patients are seen later in the day followed by an extensive cleaning every night.
