Applications Available Until July 24, 2020

The Healthcare Foundation of La Porte (HFL) is dedicated to empowering our residents to live healthy and well in and around La Porte, with the goal of becoming one of Indiana’s top 10 healthiest communities by 2030. Collaborating with community organizations to reach this goal, HFL has grant applications for health and wellness projects available until July 24, 2020.

Cycle 2 Strategic Grants are grants that address specific board-approved major community needs with a defined impact on health and wellness. The three Strategic Grant Areas are Healthy Children, Healthy Living, and Healthy Minds. Responsive Grants meet the community’s health and wellness needs that fall outside of the three Strategic Grant Areas and demonstrate a connection to HFL’s mission and vision. Responsive Grant requests may be up to $25,000.

“The success of our community health and wellness organizations, as well as the Healthcare Foundation’s mission, lies in the development of deeper partnerships across our community,” states Maria Fruth, President and CEO of the Healthcare Foundation of La Porte. “Partnering with other organizations through thoughtful grantmaking is just one of the ways we will all successfully reach our vision of being one of the thoughtful grantmaking is just one of the ways healthiest communities in the state.”
