This program is based on years of research on how strength training and proper nutrition can improve health. The benefits may include increased strength and flexibility, improved balance and reduced falls, improved weight and glucose control and improved sleep and mood! Each week we will do a series of strength training exercises using just 1— 5 pound weights. After the exercises we will enjoy fellowship and a healthy snack. Come for at least 6 weeks (12 meetings) and get a certificate and a FREE set of weights. Limited to one set of weights per person. This program is free and made possible by support from Purdue Extension and Indiana State Department of Health, Office of Women’s Health.
