Responsibilities
- Create and design various materials for print and digital collateral on a daily basis
- Ensure projects are completed with high quality and on schedule
- Establish creative direction for the company as well as brand guidelines
- Prioritize and manage multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions
- Perform retouching and manipulation of images
- Work with a wide range of media and use graphic design software
- Develop creative concepts based on strategic direction
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in graphic arts, design, communications, or related field
- 5 years of experience in graphic design
- Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and the web
- Familiarity with HTML and CSS preferred
- Mastery of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and other graphic design software
- Compelling portfolio of work over a wide range of creative projects
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent eye for detail
- The ability to work well under pressure
- Work closely with account executives to schedule and monitor all projects
- Provide accurate time estimates for each tactic and manage time allotted
- Understand and manage entire print production process
- Perform miscellaneous tasks, as directed by agency owner
Demonstrated ability to:
- Communicate thorough knowledge of assigned product(s)
- Provide effective direction at photoshoots
- Effectively check and approve work on press
- Effectively collect electronic materials for output
- Effectively handle multiple assignments at one time
- Manage challenging situations both internally and with the client
- Command respect of freelancers and designers and be able to effectively oversee their work
