We have been awarded $5301.10 in tax credits from the State of Indiana through the Neighborhood Assistance Program, at a rate of 50% (or $10,602 of contributions). Combining the State of Indiana tax credit with the Federal deduction to La Porte Economic Advancement Foundation (L.E.A.F.) there is very little out of pocket cost to a person who makes a contribution and has a tax liability to the State and Federal governments.
The funds will be used to provide a budget for our downtown development program. Through these funds we will be on our way to becoming an exemplary main street community.
We ask that you make your commitment by Monday, December 1st.
