International Friendship Gardens is looking for volunteers to come to the Gardens on Saturday or Sunday, April 20-21 and Saturday or Sunday, April 27-28 to help with the Spring Clean-Up.
Alex Rakowski, gardening coordinator for IFG is seeking volunteers this year to join IFG members in the clean up in honor of Earth Day. If you, your family or group could volunteer a few hours either Saturday between 10am and 3pm, please call 878.9885 and leave a message. Water and snacks will be provided. Tools and gloves will also be provided along with trained gardeners to get your group started. You can bring your favorite rake along.
IFG cleans up litter along U.S. Highway 12 and along part of Martin Luther King Drive in an ongoing effort to keep our community clean.
