On the first day of Christmas my true love gave to me a gift card to Albano’s villa, and on the second day of Christmas my true love and I shared a personal pizza.
Take my advice.
Skip the doves and hens and get your loved one what they truly want, a gift card to Albano’s, where the family-owned pizzeria has been perfecting the art of pizza-crafting since 1957.
There are three specialty-made pizza options: the Taco, the Veggie, and the Albano’s Masterpiece, but if those don’t satisfy the craving, you can design your own with your choice of toppings.
Order by the pan for a large party, or on the smaller side for a more intimate dinner date, either way, the blend of the family’s unique-flavored sauce and the crust with just-right level of thickness, will complete the holiday season.
The restaurant does more than just place a piping hot pizza on the table. Made with fresh ingredients, the restaurant offers sandwiches, salads, and a large spread of different pasta dishes to choose from.
Other non-pizza selections include burgers, wings, burritos and tacos, and of course garlic bread on the side. Beer and wine top the meal off, without shrinking the wallet.
Gift cards can be picked up at any of the three La Porte County locations and orders can be picked up or delivered.
Dine in and carry-out are offered at both the 1612 Franklin in Michigan City and 401 “J” St. in La Porte locations, and hours vary by location. Carry-out only is offered at the 6492 Johnson Road, La Porte location, but the large banquet room is great for gathering your large family inside for parties.
Sure, those four calling birds sound lovely, but on the 12th day of Christmas, I’d rather have the pizza in a pear tree.
