Throughout the month of December, the Southern Shore Art Association will feature original artworks, all under $200. Our talented members are displaying a variety of their works, from traditional to contemporary, in all media. Find the perfect gift here, or just treat yourself! From Saturday December 13 a special collection of artist-designed or embellished Holiday Ornaments will be available for purchase. Our artist members are donating these ornaments to raise funds for our Gallery. Purchase something truly unique! A demonstration will also showcase how to turn your Christmas cards into one-of-a kind ornaments.
The exhibit opens on Friday December 5, from 5-8pm, with a free refreshments/snacks Reception in conjunction with Michigan City’s “First Friday” celebration in the historic Uptown Arts District. All participating artists will be present during the opening event..
"Gift of Art" will run through Sunday, December 28 at the Southern Shore Art Association Gallery, 724 Franklin Street, Michigan City. Gallery open hours are Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 12-5pm (CST).
