Beginning Friday, November 15, people will have the opportunity to receive assistance in tracing their genealogy at the La Porte County Public Library’s Main location in La Porte.
Mary Wenzel, a local genealogist, will volunteer every Friday from 10am to 12pm beginning on the 15th in the Indiana Room at the Main Library. She will help people research their family history by finding the information they need in books, on the computer, and on microfilm. Even though Library staff is available to help with genealogy at all times the library is open, this is a special time for people to come in for help.
