Friends of the La Porte County Public Library Annual Book Sale, June 25 – 28, 2015

LPCL-Friends-of-the-Library-Book-SaleThe Friends of the La Porte County Public Library BIG annual book sale starts Thursday, June 25 and goes through Sunday, June 28. The location of the sale is 1106 W. St. Rd. 2 (The old Sun Appliance building). Customers will find great prices on gently used books, paperbacks, CDs, audiobooks, textbooks, and more.

On Thursday from 3PM to 7PM is the “Members Only” sale. Memberships can be purchased at the door or purchased before June 25 for a lesser fee. Membership forms are available at any library location or can be found on the library’s website, laportelibrary.org

The sale opens to the general public on Friday at 8AM to 7PM. Saturday hours are 8AM to 4PM and Sunday hours are from Noon to 4PM

The Friends of the Library is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the La Porte County Public Library and literacy in our community. Their summer book sale events are their biggest fundraisers. Funds raised support the library’s Summer Learning Adventure and other events and classes at the library for all ages. If you miss the BIG sale, plan to visit the Friends sales at Hanna, the Rolling Prairie Farmer’s Fest or in La Porte at the Sunflower Fair.
