Free 2015 Summer Camp Offered by the Michigan City Salvation Army

Final-MC-Salvation-Army-Summer-Camp-Flyer-2015The Salvation Army of Michigan City will be offering free summer camp for 100 children between the ages 8-17 living inside the Michigan City Area Schools district during the summer of 2015. The children will have the opportunity to attend up to three camps which catch their interest, all of which will take place at The Salvation Army’s Little Pine Island located in Comstock, Michigan. Children will have the choice of attending the following camps:

Outdoor Adventure Camp: June 8- June 11: Ages 8-12
Guard and Ranger Camp: June 15-June 20: Ages 13-17
Teen Camp: June 22- June 27: Ages 13-17
Sunbeam, Explorer, & High Adventure Camp: June 29-July 2: Ages 8-12
Music Camp: July 10- July 18: Ages 8-17
Sports Camp: July 20- July 23: Ages 9-14

The Salvation Army will be holding an open registration on March 31st and April 1st from 4:00-6:00 PM at The Salvation Army located at 1201 S. Franklin Street in Michigan City. Parents will need to bring proof of child’s date of birth, proof of residency, and their child’s immunization records to register their children for the camps.
