Franciscan St. Anthony Health-Crown Point Honors Latest ECHO Grads

Franciscan-St-Anthony-Health-Crown-Point-honors-latest-ECHO-gradsThe Franciscan St. Anthony Health-Crown Point School of Echocardiography Class of 2014 was honored during a graduation program that took place November 20 at the Marian Education Center.

The School of Echocardiography is an Associate of Applied Science degree program that prepares students for the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or Cardiovascular Credentialing International examinations, which are recognized as the leading choices for credentialing in the field of cardiac ultrasound.

The school is accredited by the state and nationally accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs. The 22-month, hospital-based program, offered since 2005, incorporates classroom instruction, lab skills and clinical experiences in a variety of health care settings, which allow students to learn the art and science of echocardiography.
