Franciscan Alliance: Crown Point Community Foundation Supports Safe Kids Day

Franciscan-Alliance-Crown-Point-Community-Foundation-Supports-Safe-Kids-DayThe Crown Point Community Foundation recently awarded a $3,000 grant to the Franciscan Alliance Foundation to help underwrite the annual Safe Kids Day program scheduled at the Crown Point Southlake Family YMCA, 1450 S. Court St., from 9 a.m. to noon, April 23. This year marks the second in which the foundation, the YMCA and Franciscan Alliance have partnered to bring the event to the city. The program is open to families and is free of charge.

The day includes such activities as a fire safety simulator, water safety, face-painting, sports safety awareness and a special nationally acclaimed Pro-Kids Show that offers magic, comedy and music. Registration is required and is available by calling (800) 931-3322.
