The Indiana Association of School Principals (IASP) invited each high school in Indiana to recommend up to four current juniors for its Rising Stars of Indiana recognition program, based on their academic achievement. La Lumiere School nominated Olivia Dybing and Sarah Gillen both of La Porte, Ind.; Sasha Lyubashevsky of Chicago; and Shivani Patel of Granger, Ind. All four La Lu students were selected as 2017 Rising Stars of Indiana.
IASP congratulates these students on all they have already achieved as they continue their accomplishments and expand their knowledge, growth, and leadership skills well into the future. Olivia, Sarah, Sasha, and Shivani will all receive a Certificate of Achievement.
“We’re proud of these four talented students for who they are in the classroom and as active members of our larger school community,” says Adam Kronk, Head of School. “They truly are rising stars and great representatives of the work that all of our students put in here every day.”
