ForumCornucopia 2014: Building Your Capacity to Serve Community

center-for-creative-solutions-incThe second session of ForumCornucopia 2014,"Civility in the Workplace," is not about nice. Rather, it’s about the high costs of incivility in businesses, non-profit organizations of all kinds, government and education.

When there is a bully at work, employees miss more work, are less productive, suffer more illness and show less loyalty to their employer. They are more likely to quit their jobs, often never reporting why to their employer.

These issues and more are the focus of "Civility in the Workplace– Beyond Nice" on Thursday, October 23, 2014, 12 noon to 1:30 p.m. Anyone who supervises employees in a business, non-profit or educational organization, or government agency will benefit.

ForumCornucopia is annually sponsored by the Center for Creative Solutions, Inc.™ "Building Capacity to Serve Your Community" is the theme for the three-part series.

The civility program runs from 12 noon to 1:30 a.m., starting with lunch. It will be held at the Greater La Porte Economic Development Corporation, 809 Washington Street, La Porte.
