Footlight Theatre has announced audition dates for their August production of “Julius Caesar”. Making its debut here at Footlight, local actor/poet Aram Arden’s briskly-paced adaptation of William Shakespeare’s classic tragedy Julius Caesar features some surprises while maintaining the majesty of the original, and is both welcoming to those audiences unfamiliar with Shakespeare and entirely satisfying to aficionados.
Julius Caesar is a powerful study in conflict: conflict in the nation, conflict in ideas, conflict in the individual. It has enthralled audiences for over four centuries, don’t miss this exciting opportunity to find out why! Cast requirements call for 10-15 men ages 20 and up and 3 women ages 20-40.
