First Trust Credit Union is pleased to announce the appointment of Dorene Martinson as Marketing Director beginning August 1, 2016. Martinson replaces former Marketing Director, Laurie Franke-Polz, who retired after 8 years of service on July 29, 2016. Franke-Polz commented, “I knew Dorene was destined to excel when I hired her as my assistant 4-1/2 years ago. She has been, and will continue to be, an outstanding asset to the growth of First Trust Credit Union.”
Dorene is a graduate of Purdue University with a B.A. in Liberal Arts with a Major in Communication and Journalism. She has over 21 years of sales and marketing expertise. Martinson stated, “ I truly believe in the credit union philosophy of ‘People Helping People’ and I look forward to be able to do that on a daily basis by educating and offering people all the beneficial products and services First Trust has for all our members and potential new members.”
Dorene is a native of Michigan City and resides in Porter, Indiana with her husband and their two children.
