First Friday Downtown Movie Night Begins June 7th with Charlotte’s Web

Charlottes-WebThe First Friday Night Movie series begins with Charlotte’s Web Friday, June 7th. This free downtown movie is screened in the Herald Argus parking lot at State and Monroe Streets Downtown. Families can come early, shop local and enjoy a classic car show beginning at 6pm. The free movie, sponsored by Parkison and Hinton, begins at dusk, around 8:30pm.

The movie Charlotte’s Web, adopted based on the award –winning novel by E.B. White is a tale of friendship enjoyable for children and adults. Families attending will enjoy free bubbles, free popcorn provided by La Porte Savings Bank, and food for sale by B & J’s American Café. Bring your blankets, lawn chairs, and enjoy a free movie downtown!

The schedule for the remainder of the summer is July 5th “The Lorax” sponsored by Horizon Bank and August 3 “The Journey to the Center of the Earth” sponsored by the La Porte Urban Enterprise Association & the City of La Porte.
