Fire Prevention Week Continues with More Tips from the Michigan City Fire Department

MC-Fire-Wal-Mart-DonationIt has been another busy week during Fire prevention and safety month.

Words cannot express the gratitude for the generosity of Jan Mark, Health Richey and the Wal-Mart Corporation for the donation of smoke detectors.

Thank you to Herb Higgin and his crew for inviting Fire Safety Pup and Firefighter Mark to the Lights on Afterschool event at McDonalds, a great time was had by all who attended.

The Michigan City Fire Department would also like to thank the area businesses that have invited the department to give safety and prevention talks to their employees.

The Engine crews were busy this week too…and did a great job…..THANKS TO ALL
