Family Donates $1,500 for Hospital NICU

Family-Donates-1500-for-Hospital-NICUThe Nathan C. Splant Foundation recently donated $1,500 to the Franciscan Alliance Foundation to support the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Franciscan St. Anthony Health - Crown Point. The Nathan C. Splant Foundation was founded when Nathan was born 15 weeks premature in 2004. Because of the amazing care Nathan received from his nurses and doctors as well as the strong love of his family, Nathan has grown into a fine young man, loved ones say. Nathan’s parents decided they wanted to give back to others and formed the foundation, which has made donations to numerous neonatal causes over the years.

The gift to the Franciscan Alliance Foundation will be used to support St. Anthony’s Bereavement Program in the NICU and to purchase keepsake lockets for parents who have lost a child.
