The La Porte County Extension Homemakers invite you to come out to the Community Building at the fairgrounds on Thursday, October 16 to learn what to do with your herb harvest! Registration starts at 6 p.m. and the program starts at 6:30 p.m. Demonstrations, refreshments and door prizes will make for a fun night out!
Keynote speaker Marcy Dailey, local entrepreneur, Master Gardener and member of Hesston Homemakers Extension Club along with Extension Homemakers from Evening Stars and Homespun Harmony will be demonstrating ways to use the herbs in cooking and in everyday activities. A booklet with recipes and ideas will be available for $1.00.
This will also be an opportunity to learn more about the Extension Homemakers organization and how it can benefit you! It’s free, but we would like to have an idea of how many to expect, so if you plan to attend, please call our office to RSVP - 324-9407. Call the Extension office for more information.
Come and bring a friend!
