Dr. Randall S. Moore joins Franciscan Alliance as a senior vice president

Dr-Randall-S-Moore-joins-Franciscan-Alliance-as-a-senior-vice-presidentRandall S. Moore, MD, MBA, will join Franciscan Alliance as senior vice president and COO for Franciscan Health and Care Solutions, Kevin Leahy, President and CEO of Franciscan Alliance, announced today.

Dr. Moore will be responsible for assisting Franciscan Alliance achieve the quadruple aim of healthcare providers: improve the patient experience and satisfaction with care; improve the health of the population Franciscan is privileged to serve; reduce the cost of care; and improve the experience of providing care for the 18,000 coworkers of Franciscan Alliance’s healthcare ministry. Dr. Moore will work closely with all divisions within Franciscan to advance the transformation of the healthcare system from a fee-for-service to a fee-for-value integrated delivery network of 12 hospitals and 171 clinic sites, according to Leahy.

Dr. Moore brings a successful record of over 30 years of experience in the transformation of healthcare delivery. Most recently, Dr. Moore was president of Mercy Virtual in Chesterfield, Mo., where he led a team of clinical and business professionals in the redesign and transformation of the delivery of care in physician clinics, hospitals, and homes. As a virtual care expert, he has guided health systems in the development of telemedicine services and brought virtual care innovations to hospitals and home settings across multiple states. During his career, Dr. Moore has worked across and within key healthcare segments as an academic clinical physician, business executive, international consultant, and entrepreneur.

Dr. Moore graduated with Alpha Omega Alpha honors, from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and completed his training in internal medicine at the University of Minnesota where he was chosen as chief resident. He earned his MBA from Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management and also studied at the University of London. He was also valedictorian and Phi Beta Kappa at Wabash College in Crawfordsville, Indiana. Dr. Moore was born in Gary and grew up in Northwest Indiana.
