Dogs from Franciscan Health’s pet therapy program nuzzled up to fans at Youth & Senior Day at the U.S. Steel Yard during the game between the Gary SouthShore RailCats and the Winnipeg Goldeyes on June 12.
The pet therapy program is currently at Franciscan Health Crown Point, Munster and Michigan City. Dogs are certified by Therapy Dogs International or Alliance of Therapy Dogs to participate.
