Henry Sequeira, Franciscan St. Margaret Health – Dyer chaplain; Dawn Radich-Kotz, Franciscan Healthcare - Munster manager of volunteer services and patient satisfaction; Sister Cecelia Clare, Franciscan St. Margaret Health patient advocate; and Patrick LaPacz, a seminarian at Catholic Theological Union, Chicago, who is doing a ministry practicum internships at Franciscan St. Margaret Health, were among numerous attendees Nov. 2 at an All Souls Day commemoration of deceased Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration sisters interred at St. John/St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Hammond.

Sequeira, who presided over the service, invited those on hand to not only remember the pioneer sisters, some of whom died at a very young age, but to likewise draw upon their strength and inspiration to follow their footsteps in spreading Christ’s healing ministry.
