Cycle for Science Workshop at La Porte County Public Library

La-Porte-County-Public-LibrarySan Francisco scientists Rachel Woods-Robinson and Elizabeth Case will teach a pop-up workshop to middle-schoolers this summer at the La Porte County Public Library main branch as part of their cross-country biking adventure.

Students must register online to meet these innovative cycling scientists and learn about the Sol Cycle, the miniature, 3-D printable, solar-powered bicycle the scientists created. The library expects Rachel and Elizabeth to arrive near the end of June, but will not be able to give an exact date and time until later in the month in case weather or other unforeseeable circumstances delay the bicyclists. Students who register will receive a phone call a few days before the scientists arrive with the date and time of the workshop.
