New Prairie High School will be looking for a new boys basketball coach. After six seasons as Cougar skipper, Chad Cripe is stepping down to become Social Studies teacher and head boys basketball coach at East Noble High School.
Cripe leaves New Prairie with a 56-74 record. More than anything, Cripe inherited a struggling program and in his stay, saw the Cougars gradually improve each and every year. This past season, New Prairie won a share of the Northern State Conference title for just the fifth time in school history.
