Computer Workshop for Beginners Offered by PNC Beginning in September

ComputerThe Office of Graduate and Extended Learning at Purdue University North Central will be offering a computer workshop for beginners, which will introduce the basics of using a computer with the Windows 7 operating system and will get individuals started on their path to computer literacy. This hands-on workshop will cover topics such as understanding the equipment, basic computer terminology, working with files and folders, working with email and the internet, downloading images from digital cameras, printing, and much more.

"So You've Never Touched A Computer" will be a two-day workshop offered at the Westville campus, Monday, September 30 and Tuesday, October 1 from 5:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. each night. The registration fee of $139.00 includes reference materials and a textbook, which the students will be able to use to study the material in more detail from home. The deadline to register is Monday, September 16 at 4:00 p.m.
