Community Healthcare System is currently hiring at multiple locations throughout Northwest Indiana, including Community Hospital, Munster; St. Catherine Hospital, East Chicago; St. Mary Medical Center, Hobart, and Community Stroke & Rehabilitation Center, Crown Point.
“We provide a wide range of high-level healthcare for our community, ensuring people don’t have to travel far from home for their health needs,” said Human Resources recruiter Kahley McKenna. “That is always very important.”
Job opportunities include work in inpatient and outpatient care, acute care, diagnostics, behavioral health, assisted living and long-term care. Community Healthcare System also offers 110 physician office locations throughout Northwest Indiana.
“Our positions range from highly technical and specialized positions with postgraduate degrees to support positions that can be trained on the job,” McKenna said.

“We provide shadowing opportunities, internships, mentoring and clinical sites for those who need to do clinical rotations,” McKenna said. “In addition to that, we also have a laboratory school, a phlebotomy school and a pharmacy technician program onsite within our system. So there are definitely opportunities for those who are interested in growing and looking for something that sparks their interest in the healthcare realm.”
A nursing assistant school is available as well for those interested in learning more about that area of healthcare.
