The City of La Porte Park and Recreation Department announced today 2017 Spring/Summer Youth Sports registration continue at the Park Office at 250 Pine Lake Avenue, La Porte. Register for T-Ball (ages 5 & 6), Cal Ripken baseball (ages 7-12), Girls Slow Pitch Softball (ages 7-17) *Eighteen-year-old high school girls will be accepted, Babe Ruth Baseball (ages 13-15). Divisions determined by participant’s age on or before April 30, 2017.
Players registering for Cal Ripken baseball, Babe Ruth baseball and girls slow pitch softball will need to bring their birth certificate. T-Ball, Cal Ripken, and Girls’ Softball requires a fee of $50 for the first child and $40 for each additional child in the same league and household. Babe Ruth baseball requires a fee of $90 for the first child and $80 for each additional child in the same league and household. An additional $20 will be added to the fee after February 24.
