Leadership La Porte County is pleased to announce a partnership with Trudy Menke, Independent Certified Teacher, Speaker & Coach of The John Maxwell Team to bring the Chick Fil-A Leadercast to La Porte County for our site’s second year. The event will take place Friday, May 10 at the Best Western Hotel and Conference Center in La Porte.
Becoming an authorized host site was an effort of Menke in 2012 as she saw an opportunity to bring value to the community and introduce her business that specializes in leadership development. In an effort to collaborate and invite increased participation, Trudy invited Leadership La Porte County to partner in the planning process of this year’s event. Last year half of the proceeds were directed to the Unity Foundation and this year, half of the proceeds from the event will be shared with Leadership La Porte County to benefit programs and scholarships.
Corporate Sponsors are being sought for this unique broadcast. “It’s a great opportunity for like-minded people to share an experience at both a local and global community level,” Menke said. The Leadercast anticipates this year’s audience will be in excess of 140,000 people in hundreds of locations. “We are proud to lend our support to this event to bring world class speakers to our community.” stated Monica Komasinski, Executive Director at Leadership La Porte County. “Effective leadership is the key to a local community’s success. We’re looking to engage the business community in helping us to bring the best leadership people and messages to La Porte with Leadercast.”
