Chesterton Wells Fargo Branch Manager Among “Best of the Best”

Clifford E. Bryan, Senior Vice President-Investments and Branch Manager of Duneland Chamber of Commerce member Wells Fargo (located at 751 E. Porter Ave., Ste. 6, Chesterton), attended the annual Barron’s Top Advisors Summit, hosted by Barron’s magazine to promote best practices in the industry and the value of advice to the investing public. The invitation-only conference was held at the Waldorf Astoria, September 25-27 in Orlando, FL.

66 of the Top 100 Financial Advisors in the U.S., as ranked and published in Barron’s April 15, 2013 issue, were in attendance. This annual ranking is the basis for the Top Advisor’s Summit and the advisors are chosen based on the volume of assets overseen by the advisors and their teams, revenue generated for the firms and the quality of the advisors’ practices. The top 100 are comprised of advisors from major security firms and independent operations.

“The value of bringing together a select group of advisors such as this should prove to be invaluable with the servicing of my clients’ accounts. My opportunity to share Best Practices with fellow top advisors representing different firms from around the country allows me to consider alternative views of challenges that my clients in Northwest Indiana may face,” said Cliff Bryan.

This exclusive conference is designed to promote best practices and generate new ideas across the industry. Attendees conducted workshops led by the Top 100 Financial Advisors that explored current issues from business development ideas, managing high-net-worth accounts and families to portfolio management and retirement planning.

“Because the Summit brings together key leaders and top decision makers from around the country, it is recognized by the financial advisor community as the industry’s leading event,” said Ed Finn, editor and president of Barron’s. “The ideas and discussions generated here equip attendees to provide the best investment and financial advice to their clients, which are vital given the challenging economic and market conditions of today.”

Cliff Bryan was one of approximately 500 financial advisors who was selected by their firm to attend and participate in the conference. Participating firms included: Ameriprise Financial Services Inc., Bank of America-Merrill Lynch, Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC, Deutsche Bank, Alex Brown LPL Financial, Morgan Stanley, RBC Wealth Management, Robert W. Baird & Co., UBS Financial Services Inc., and Wells Fargo Advisors. For more information about Barron’s conferences, please go to www.barrons.com/conferences.
