Challenger Learning Center Announces 2015 Summer Adventure Camp Lineup

Challenger-Learning-CenterThe Challenger Learning Center of Northwest Indiana has announced its line up of summer adventure camp sessions they will host this summer during June and July.

Students ages 5 through 14 can participate in hands-on and minds-on sessions designed to teach, inspire and engage students in the STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) fields. Topics include robotics, rocketry, computer programming, chemistry, underwater astronaut training and more.

“This is a great way for students to get a feel for the work that scientists, engineers, astronauts and technicians are doing every day to advance our understanding about the amazing universe in which we live,” said Becca Manis, executive director of the Challenger Learning Center of Northwest Indiana. “It’s the little seeds that we plant in these future explorers’ minds that will encourage them to consider their place in the future, a future that will affect all of us.”

Challenger Learning Center of Northwest Indiana is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization and is located off of I-80/94 on Purdue University Calumet’s campus, 2300 173rd Street in Hammond.
