Michael E. Schrage, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Centier Bank, is pleased to welcome Jessica Watts as the Vice President, Public Funds Officer, based out of the bank’s Chesterton Downtown Branch, 103 Broadway Ave.
Watts joins Centier with 26 years of prior banking experience and an extensive background in treasury services, deposit relationship management, and lending experience. The Hobart native is excited to join Centier Bank because of its award-winning corporate culture and because it is Indiana’s largest private, family-owned bank.
In her role, Watts is responsible for growing and managing clients’ Public Funds portfolio by sourcing and deepening new and existing municipal relationships.
“It has been, and will continue to be, my priority to find solutions that improve efficiency, protect deposits from fraud, save fees, and provide financial guidance,” Watts explained.
The IU East alumnus is an Accredited ACH Professional, and a member of the Chesterton Duneland Kiwanis Club, volunteer for the Duneland YMCA, and Duneland Schools, and a member of the Michigan City Chamber of Commerce. She resides in Porter County with her husband, Bryan, and her family.
