Michael E. Schrage, CEO and Chairman of Centier Bank, is pleased to announce the recent promotion of Amy Bowman to Assistant Vice President of the bank.
Bowman joined Centier in 2010 as a universal banker, and then became an operation supervisor, and then an assistant manager before being promoted to her current role as branch manager. Bowman became the branch manager of the Hobart Strack and Van Til Branch in 2017. She is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree from Indiana Wesleyan University.
Bowman also has notary qualifications and is a licensed loan officer. She said the best part of working at Centier Bank is the close-knit relationships she has developed with her colleagues and clients.
“I love being a part of a family-owned company that truly cares for its associates,” Bowman said. “I love building relationships with my clients and knowing that I made a difference in their life, whether it be through conversations or assisting them with their financial needs.”

“Amy is someone who truly values her team, her colleagues, and her clients, and anyone who interacts with her can feel that right away,” Houck said. “She is someone who is truly dedicated to her work, and I am very proud that her hard work has led her to role as branch manager.”
Amy Bowman resides in Valparaiso with her husband, William, and their three children. She is a member of the Hobart Chamber of Commerce, and volunteers for Dressed for School, as well as Making Strides.
