For the past 10 years, Centier Bank has ranked alongside community banks and other financial institutions across the country. The 90 banks in the U.S. that made this year’s list were selected through two different surveys managed by the Best Companies Group. The first survey measured employee satisfaction in eight different categories, including communication, happiness with role and relationship with supervisor.
Overall, the average score of positive responses for the banks that made the list was 91%, compared with 83% for the institutions that didn't make the cut.
In past years, areas like volunteerism and benefits were a focal point in determining bank rankings. However, the nationally-renowned American Banker Magazine took a closer look this year at employees who are also looking for an opportunity for career advancement, a welcoming workplace environment and strong leadership.
American Banker highlighted Centier Bank’s unique servant heart culture, as well as the bank’s nontraditional benefits intended to help with employees' holistic wellbeing, such as health and wellness coaching, free on-site medical clinics for workers and their families, and daycare and college tuition reimbursement.
