Centier Bank launches personal savings e-course through Centier to You

Centier Bank has rolled out a free personal savings e-course through its free online Financial Educational series, Centier To You, available on the bank’s website.

The e-Course includes worksheets and Top 5 Tips on establishing savings goals and creating a savings action plan which will serve as an aid to help users reach their short-term and long-term savings goals.

Lauren Zurbriggen, Financial Education and Community Outreach Coordinator at Centier Bank, said that the sudden economic changes brought about in the last year has emphasized the importance of being prepared to face unexpected financial challenges.

“Whether it’s to create an emergency fund, save up for a large purchase or to secure your financial future, establishing a habit of saving is crucial to your financial wellness,” Zurbriggen explained. “This course is geared to help consumers understand the importance of saving, walk through setting S.M.A.R.T. goals and provide tips and strategies to help you find the money to save and make saving easy.”

Centier To You launched last year, offering free e-courses, helpful exercises, and additional resources on many financial education topics like identity theft, homebuying, credit, and making a budget, with more to come. Centier To You aims to educate and equip consumers with knowledge so they can work toward their financial goals by learning about topics.
