The Boston Middle School eighth grade football team finished their season by suffering a tough loss to Kesling 35-14 under the lights at Kiwanis Field Wednesday night. Unfortunately the “Slicer Jug” in honor of Jake West now resides at Kesling. Offensively, Boston was led in scoring by Jalen Russell, who had a 50 yard “hook and lateral” pass from Mason Shreves and Jacob Tuttle to go along with his 2-point conversion reception. Tuttle also had the first touchdown for the Bruins in the game. After a tough end to the season the Bruins will join Kesling next year as ninth graders playing freshman football. Good luck as Slicers!
The Boston 6th and 7th grade football team finished their season by suffering a tough loss to Kesling 28-20 at Kiwanis Field Wednesday night. After falling behind 14-0 at the half, they climbed their way back into the game by a tougher defense and strong running by Oswald and Alexander.
