The Boston Middle School Show Choirs, under the direction of Mrs. Jeanette Quinn, had recently traveled to several nursing homes on Tuesday, December 11th, to perform their Holiday Show and sing Christmas Carols for the residents.
Boston Middle School Show Choir has been visiting nursing homes since 1995, singling out two nursing homes in December and again in May. They have performed at Fountainview Golden Living Center, Countryside Golden Living Center, Oakwoods Manor, and Brentwood Assisted Living.
Students involved in Show choir rehearse at 7:00 A.M. twice a week throughout the school year. There are fifty students in the two Show Choirs at Boston, students from 6th, 7th and 8th grades. The students perform in concerts at Boston Middle School and occasionally perform for community events.
